75 To 80 Percent Students Appeared For the JEE Main 2020 Exam, Results Can Be Out Till September 11

New Delhi : The JEE Main Exam for admission in engineering colleges across the country was completed on Sunday, September 2020. About 75 to 80 percent of the students appeared for JEE. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main September 2020 results before September 11.

On the same day, the merit list of JEE Main 2020 will be released on the basis of the best score of both exams held in January and September of JEE Main. Out of this merit list, the top 2.5 lakh students will appear in the JEE Advanced Examination for admission to IIT. With this merit, engineering colleges across the country will enroll students in the graduate i.e. B.Tech and BE programs.

The National Testing Agency organized JEE across the country from September 1 to 6. The examination was conducted in 660 examination centers, under special standards for protection and safety from Corona. 8.58 lakh students had registered for the exam.

The attendance of students has been up to 85 per cent till the first day of JEE. During the last two days there was a slight decline in the attendance of the students. However, the attendance of students in the examination conducted in two shifts from September 1 to 6 has been between 75 and 85 percent.

Preparation for NEET to be held on September 13 for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in medical colleges has started. NTA has again written to the states for NEET. According to the sources, students participating in the NEET of NCR including Delhi can get a chance to travel free in the Delhi Metro.

However, the government and the metro have not finalized it yet. But there is a plan to give this exemption under public transport to make the students easily reach the center.
