Shirdi: Founding President of Bhumata Brigade Trupti Desai has warned that she will go to Shirdi on December 10 to remove the instruction board by Shirdi Sansthan about the attire to visit the temple.

Trupti Desai has been barred from entering the Shirdi Nagar Panchayat limits by the administration till Friday, December 11.

Earlier, the Sai Baba Mandir trustees had instructed the devotees to come to the temple in Shirdi in decent attire. This has led to a controversy.

Desai had warned that if the board wasn’t removed, she would go to Shirdi and remove it herself. Since the board wasn’t removed, Desai sent a letter to the Sansthan regarding the same.

The local administration made it clear that if she violates her ban from entering the temple, strict action would be taken against her. But Trupti Desai is adamant about her agitation and will be visiting Shirdi.

Desai expressed, “In a democracy, the constitution has given the right to protest. Now, it is being taken away and our voices are being suppressed. Our voices will not be silenced. I will go to Shirdi”.
