‘Corona Impacted Many Things But Could Not Deter The Aspirations Of Indians’ – PM Modi At USISPF

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a summit on Indo-US relations on Thursday. PM Modi’s address was in the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISP) is a non-profit organization that works for the India-US partnership. In his address, PM Modi spoke about the growing power of India even during the Corona period. PM Modi said that no one thought that the corona epidemic will come. It affected everyone, but could not affect the aspirations of the people of India.

The Prime Minister said that in the last few months, in addition to Corona, India has also experienced 2 cyclones, floods and locust attacks. Today 80 crore people are being given food grains in India for free. Free cooking gas is being given to 80 million people.

PM Modi said that the recovery rate of corona in India is also increasing rapidly. Our business community is also doing well. We are currently the world’s second largest PPE kit manufacturer. In January we had 1 testing lab for Corona, now there are 1600 testing labs across the country. The corona death rate is much lower than that of the world.

Prime Minister Modi said that the corona epidemic has affected many things, but it has not affected the aspirations of the people of India. There have been many reforms in recent months in India. Work is going on on the world’s largest housing program. Rail, road and air connectivity is being increased. A lot of work is being done in the field of infrastructure. We are using the best financial technology to provide banking, credit, digital payment and insurance facilities to the people. Our tax system is transparent.

PM Modi said that 130 crore Indians are engaged in the mission of self-sufficient India. Self-reliant India aims to develop India as a global manufacturing hub. The road ahead is full of opportunities in the public and private sector. It also includes the core economic sector and social sector.

The Prime Minister said that recently the fields of Railways, Defence, Space and Atomic Energy have been opened. Our labor reforms will remove the burden of compliance from the employer and also provide social security facilities to the employees. FDI in India increased by 20 percent in the year 2019, this happened at a time when the world has seen a decline of percent in it. This shows the success of our FDI scheme.
