New Delhi : Coronavirus cases in India are breaking records everyday. According to the Union Health Ministry, from Friday 8 am to 8 am Saturday, 76472 new cases of Coronavirus have been registered across the country. With these new cases, India’s COVID-19 case tally has crossed 34 lakh mark. The COVID-19 case tally in the country has increased to 34,63,973.

The number of deaths in the country due to Coronavirus is increasing continuously. In the country, this deadly virus has caused more than 62 thousand deaths. According to the Union Health Ministry, 1021 people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours and till now the virus has caused 62,550 deaths across the country.
Along with the increase in coronavirus cases in the country, the number of people recovering is also increasing, which is a good sign. Now, the number of people who have been cured after beating the infection in the country has crossed 26 lakh. According to the Health Ministry data, a total of 26,48,999 people have been cured across the country so far. The number of active cases of coronavirus in the country now stands at 7,52,424.
Testing is being continuously carried out in the country to identify cases of corona. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 4.03 crore tests have been conducted in the country so far. On Friday, 928761 corona tests have been conducted across the country.
