Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal under house arrest, claims AAP

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that Delhi Police has put CM Arvind Kejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu border on Monday.
Aam Aadmi Party on their official Twitter handle wrote, ” Important : BJP’s Delhi Police has put Hon’ble CM Shri @ArvindKejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu Border yesterday No one has been permitted to leave or enter his residence.”

Earlier on Monday, Delhi Chief minister said his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has always stood by farmers as he reiterated the support to their call for the Bharat Bandh or nationwide strike. Kejriwal made the comments at the Singhu border, where he went to extend support and check arrangements for farmers.

“I have not come here as chief minister. I have come here as a sewadar. We support all demands of the farmers. Their issue and demands are valid. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and I have stood in support of the farmers,” Kejriwal informed reporters during his visit.
