Hyderabad: Sabina Roshan, an Army doctor murdered her husband who was a retired captain of the army on Saturday night over a fight in Hyderabad. The incident took place in front of children. Police are currently investigating the case.
The deceased was a retired officer Vishal Diwan of the Captain’s rank in the Army. Dewan’s family lives in Maple Town in P&T Colony, Rajendra Nagar. Vishal Diwan’s wife Sabina Roshan attacked her with a knife.
The neighbours heard the children shouting and informed the police. Vishal had died by the time police reached the scene. The body of Vishal Diwan has been sent for postmortem at Osmania Hospital. Sabina has been arrested under Section 302 of IPC.
Shamshabad DCP Prakash Reddy said, ‘ both of them drunk together and started quarreling. Later, the wife attacked the husband with a knife.
According to the children their parents used to fight quite often. Vishal had allegedly beaten Sabina last month. Since then there was no proper conversation between the two. They also claimed tSabina’s mental state is not well and she was undergoing treatment for tlast 2-3 years.
The couple were married 14 years ago having a son and a daughter. Sabina Roshan was divorced from her first husband.
