Bharuch : The incident of public disposal of medical waste at Bharuch Civil Hospital has come to light. An used PPE kit was also found from the pile of medical waste. Disposal has been done illegally. On the other hand, when the matter was noticed, immediate lifting of medical waste was started.

On one hand, when there is an epidemic of corona and the government is making efforts to prevent the transmission, on the other hand, there are scenes of serious negligence at Bharuch Civil Hospital. Not only PPE kits, hand gloves were also found. Medical waste, including PPE kits, can pose a threat to public health at a time when the corona infection is in a critical stage.

Civil Surgeon Dr. R. M. Jitiya said that this medical waste and used PPE kit does not belong to civil hospital. The PPE kit used by a civil hospital is of a different type. They ruled out the possibility that the waste had been disposed of by civil hospital.

Significantly, a large number of security personnel have been deployed in the Civil Hospital compound amid talk of handing over the management of the Civil Hospital to a private organization providing health services to the people of the entire district. At that time, the question is also being raised against the allegation that the outside ambulance disposed of the medical waste in broad daylight and fled.
