Ministry of Health: 35 million tested so far under test track treatment strategy

Pune: The coronavirus infected cases in the country have crossed 31 lakh. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said, ‘more than 35 million people have been tested for the coronavirus (COVID-19) so far, following the ‘Test Track Treat’ strategy.

The total coronavirus cases reached 31,67,323 by Tuesday, It Includes 2404585 recovered cases and death toll was 58,390. Currently, there are 704348 active cases of coronavirus in the country

State that there are currently 704348 active cases of coronavirus in the country. The ministry further said that high testing in the country has helped in controlling the spread of the infection. The ministry said, ‘high testing in the country has helped in controlling the spread of the infection’ Apart from that timely detection, early isolation and effective treatment, have helped limit the spread of infection from high testing.

The ministry further added, ‘it had earlier said that the gap between recovered and COVID-19 active cases is widening as the number of recoveries is three times more than that of active cases’
