Pranab Mukherjee’s Health Deteriorated, Former President in Septic Shock Due to Lung Infection

New Delhi : The health of former President Pranab Mukherjee has worsened on Monday. The military hospital says that Pranab Mukherjee is currently in septic shock due to lung infection. He is being continuously treated on ventilator. He is in a deep coma. In the Health Bulletin of Pranab Mukherjee, admitted to the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) in Delhi, the hospital has said that he is being looked after by a team of specialist doctors.

Pranab Mukherjee tweeted on August 10, informing himself of being corona infected. He had said, “Went to the hospital for other reasons where today, I tested COVID-19 positive. I request that all those who have come in contact with me in the last one week, go in isolation and get the COVID-19 test done. Pranab Mukherjee was the 13th President of the country from 2012 to 2017.

In his health bulletin, Delhi-based military hospital on Sunday informed that Pranab Mukherjee is being treated for a lung infection. He is hemodynamically stable. The team of specialist doctors is constantly monitoring them. He is being continuously treated on ventilator. He is still in a deep coma.
