Pune: Traffic DCP Rahul Shrirame visits accident spot Navale Bridge; more cops to be deployed, infrastructural changes suggested

Pune: The accident that happened on Sunday evening near Navale Bridge shook the city after three were killed and several others were left injured. A few senior officials went to the spot to understand what changes need to be done to curb the accidents and fatalities in the vicinity.

Deputy commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rahul Shrirame and other senior police officers visited the notorious spot where the accident took place.

Shrirame stressed that a few infrastructural changes will be made and more cops will be deployed to keep the situation in check.

The area of Katraj Dehuroad bypass was not inspected and the authorities took stock of the situation to understand why accidents are regularly happening near the Navale bridge.
