Pune: Two injured, six vehicles damaged in two different accident near Katraj
Pune: Two major accidents took place on the Pune-Bengaluru highway in the wee hours at around 3 am on Wednesday (November 25) morning.
The first one happened after a car driver applied brakes and truck that was coming from behind rammed into the car from one side. The car driver Gokarnlal Ram (29) has been left with a fractured leg while the truck driver Dnyansagar Natarajan has been pressed with charges.
Second accident happened 200 metres ahead of the spot wherein a truck rammed into another resulting in severe injuries to the truck driver. In this incident, the driver Basavraj Chandragi who hails from Belgaum and was responsible for the accident was injured.
The cops from Sinhagad police station headed by senior police inspector Devidas Ghevare immediately rushed to the spot on being alarmed about the same.
