Recoverd coronavirus patient examined, suffering from long term impacts

Bergamo: The coronavirus infected people who recovered several months ago are called to hospital to verify whether they are feeling healthy or not.

Italy, which was the epicenter of the coronavirus during the initial phase of the pandemic, now corona patients are being called to hospital for testing . In particular, Bergamo of Italy was the affected area. Half of the patients who have been ill with Corona says that they are not feeling fully recovered.

According to the Washington Post’s report, blood samples of corona-negative people are being taken, heart and lungs are being examined and people are also being asked about the changes in life, so that it can be understood whether coronavirus have long term effect on the human body.

A 54-year-old woman was examined, she said, she felt like a woman of 80 years. Health experts in Bergamo, Italy warned that recovery from corona may be incomplete and at times may take a longer time.

Infectious disease specialist Serena Venturelli says that the virus has been recovered from people’s bodies, but has left an impact. We are re-examining whether they are feeling well or not- almost half of the people say- ‘No’. Out of the initial 750 patients, about 30 percent of the patients were found to have scars on their lungs and were feeling difficulty in breathing.
