New Delhi : Side effects in the trial of AstraZeneca were not caused by the COVID-19 shot. The news agency Reuters quoted Oxford University in its report. The trial of this drug was stopped for a few days due to side effects.

The trial of the Corona vaccine happening here was stopped on 6 September due to side effects. It was reported that after giving medicine to a person in the trial, he started having a spinal disease, which is called transverse myelitis.

But now the documents have shown that the disease may have been caused by giving the COVID-19 vaccine. It is not found that giving the drug given during the trial worsened the health of the participant.

The trial of this drug from Oxford University has been resumed in Britain, Brazil, India and South Africa, though not yet in the US. AstraZeneca and Oxford have not yet commented on the Reuters report.
