Almost everyone has been working from home for almost 6 months now and tight jeans and pants are a thing of the past. While these clothes are not good in terms of comfort, these tight clothes are also harmful for your vagina.

Tight salwar or jeans block blood circulation and also prevent air flow in the intimate area. Due to this, heat and sweat remain inside and cause infection.

When we have come to know how tight clothes were harming us, let’s also know how loose clothes are beneficial.

1. Vaginal thrush
Vaginal thrush is a common yeast infection that all women must have suffered at some time or the other. In this, vagina causes itching, swelling, burning while urinating and pain and burning sensation during sex. The biggest reason for this infection is tight denims. It can be seen that women who wear tight jeans or leggings are more likely to have vaginal infection.

2. UTI
UTI means that in the Urinary Tract Infection, bacteria reach the urethra and cause infection. It is very painful. This infection causes frequent urine sensation, but does not cause urination. There will also be a lot of burning and pain in UTI. The main reason for this infection is tight jeans and public bathrooms. During lockdown you are away from both of them and your vagina is benefiting from it.

3. Vulvodynia

Vulvodynia is a severe syndrome in which there is excessive burning, stinging, and pain in the vulva. This pain can last for many years. After sex or while using tampons and when sitting for too long, it begins to ache.

Your tight jeans are the cause of this syndrome. In fact, wearing jeans puts pressure on your groin area which can cause vulvodynia. By not wearing jeans, risk of vulvodynia is reduced.

4. Jock Itch
Women can also have jock itching. It is caused by a fungus called dermatophyte. It causes red rashes and itching on the groin area. It looks somewhat like shingles and sometimes gets crusted. Wearing pajamas protects you from jock itch.
