Aurangabad: Aurangabad of Carlsberg India has been conferred with the acclaimed Golden Peacock Occupational Health and Safety Award (GPOHSA) 2020.
Aurangabad brewery was established in August 2008 and today it is Carlsberg India’s largest brewery by volume in the country. Carlsberg bagged the award in the Beverage category, for its commitment towards making significant achievements in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.
Muthuraman Ramanathan, Vice President (Operations) of Carlsberg India said, “Protecting the health and safety of our people and community in all work activities is a core value in the way we operate, and this award is a testament to our efforts. Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India in 1991, have today become a hallmark of excellence, both locally and globally. This edition of Golden Peacock Occupational Health and Safety Awards has been judged by an eminent jury panel under the Chairmanship of Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India, former Chairman, National Human Rights Commission of India and National Commission for Constitution of India Reforms.
