Mumbai: Sara Tendulkar, who is the daughter of the great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar of Team India, is celebrating her 23rd birthday today.  The whole world is aware of Sara’s family, but there are many interesting things about her that fans may not know.

Sara is born in Mumbai and graduated in Medicine from University College London (UCL). After studies, she is now ready to stand on her own feet and create a different identity for herself. The fans will be surprised to know that Sara is named after a popular cricket tournament, the Sara Cup.  This was the first tournament that Tendulkar won for the first time as a captain in 1997.

When Sachin Tendulkar scored his first Test century in Manchester in 1990, he received a bottle of champagne as a gift.  Sachin was under-18 at the time, so he did not open the bottle.  However, 8 years later, when Sara was born, Sachin had opened the same champagne on a happy occasion.

Being a star kid has caused difficulties for Sara at times.  In the year 2018, the cyber police had arrested a software engineer from Andheri, who used to create a fake Twitter account in Sara’s name and make objectionable comments on the posts of big politicians.

According to sources, Ranveer Singh is Sara Tendulkar’s favorite Bollywood actor and Bajirao Mastani is her favorite film.  Sara is very fond of movies and she often goes to the cinema with friends to watch movies. Sometime ago, there were rumors that Sara is going to make her debut opposite Shahid Kapoor in the Bollywood industry.  However, Sachin Tendulkar dismissed such reports as baseless.

Sara and Arjun’s bond is more like a best friend than a sibling. Sara is very close to her mother Anjali Tendulkar.  Posting this picture of himself with his mother on Mother’s Day, he wrote, ‘I can never pay for what you have done for us and what you are doing.  The three of us love you more than you ever thought possible. ‘

At the premiere of Sachin’s biopic ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, Sara had said,’ As a child, I was unaware of my father’s greatness.  To me he was just an ordinary father.  But after watching his biopic, I found out what people think of him. ‘
