Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party State President Chandrakant Patil in one of his recent statements had said that the Farm laws won’t change. Over this statement, the state’s rural development minister has taken a dig at Patil (Chandrakant Patil)and questioned if he is the Prime Minister or the Agricultural Minister to make these claims ?

The Bharatiya Janata Party is in support of the farm bill which was passed lately, the bill has been criticised by farmers in up north, especially those belonging to Haryana and Punjab and they have doubts on getting the Minimum Selling Price (MSP) on the crops.

Hasan Mushrif said, “BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis has said that farmers from Maharashtra are not protesting in huge numbers. They may not be protesting aggressively but are in solidarity with the others. Sharad Pawar in his days has ensured that farmers in the state do not suffer and receive a good amount in exchange of the crops.”

Members of Mahavikas Aghadi have also urged people to support the farmer’s movement going on in Delhi and have asked them to put black flags in front of their houses.  There is a global protest on December 8 to support farmers.
