Mumbai : In the Corona era, man had no choice but to use digital media. In today’s time, even small children have got smartphones. So, everything seems to be going digital and the craze of online shopping sites is also increasing day by day. Also, on the eve of Navratri, shopping sites like Flipkart and Amazon have launched big offers on online shopping. These apps work in India with English, Hindi and some southern languages. However, since Marathi language is not being used for this app, MNS has warned about this.

Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has now shifted its focus to e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart. “Amazon, Flipkart should launch their app in Marathi in the next seven days, otherwise their Diwali will be in MNS style”, said Isha MNS leader Akhil Chitre.”

These companies have been operating in Maharashtra for the last 5 to 6 years. The company deals with customers in English and Hindi. The apps are also available in Tamil and Telugu languages of South India. However, MNS has expressed displeasure as this app is not working in Marathi language.

Amazon was warned that if it wants to work in Maharashtra from now on, Marathi language must be respected. As long as Raj Saheb Thackeray is in Maharashtra, he will not leave any company that insults the Marathi language, said MNS joint general secretary Sachin Yashwant Gole. Gole also went to Amazon’s office and forced company officials to apologize.

The MNS had warned to apologize for not using Marathi language, otherwise they would show its MNS-style. After that, officials at the company have apologized. Also, it has been assured that the company will soon start doing business in Marathi language by talking to the seniors.
