New Delhi: The situation of coronavirus in the country seems to be improving, with a continuous decrease in active cases of coronavirus. The growth rate of active cases has now gone -1 per cent and the number of people recovering has increased compared to the fresh cases reported. But there is still not much reduction in the number of deaths due to corona, which is a cause for concern.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 86508 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country on Thursday 8am in the last 24 hours with progressive Covid-19 cases reaching to 5,732,519.

Although the number of new cases of corona is coming, more people are now getting cured daily. During the last 24 hours, 87374 people across the country have been cured of coronavirus. So far, a total of 46,74,988 people in the country have been cured of corona and the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has been 81.55 percent.

The more relief about Corona is that there is a continuous decrease in its active cases in the country. The figures which have come out today have shown a decline in active cases for the sixth consecutive day. The total active cases of Corona are now 9,66,382 in the country.

But the most worrying thing is that the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus is also increasing. According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 1129 people lost their lives due to corona across the country in 24 hours. Coronavirus has so far caused 91149 deaths in the country.

Testing is being continuously carried out across the country to identify corona patients, more than 11.56 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Wednesday and the total coronavirus testing has now crossed 6.74 crore. India is having the most corona tests worldwide after the US.
