Gujarat: Fortuner car collides with bike and car on Palanpur-Abu highway, Three dead

Palanpur : A speeding Fortuner car coming from Abu Road could not limit the speed near a divider on the Palanpur-Abu Highway near Sai Baba temple late on Tuesday evening and hit a bike as well as a car. In this tragic accident, three youths from Mota Karja village of Amirgadh taluka were killed in the car ahead. The two injured were shifted to Palanpur Civil Hospital for treatment.

The details of the tragic accident that took place late on Tuesday evening near Palanpur are as follows: The driver of a Fortuner car coming from Abu road lost control of the steering wheel for some reason and the car sped off the divider on the highway. And hit a bike as well as a car. Three youths from Mota Karja village of Amirgadh taluka were killed in the tragic accident. While two others sustained injuries.

A crowd of people had gathered around following the accident. Meanwhile, pilots Sadiqbhai Sheikh and EMT Dhawalbhai Jetpura of Palanpur 108 evacuated the injured trapped in the vehicles and shifted them to Palanpur Civil Hospital for treatment.

Sajjan Singh Mukesh Singh Chauhan (age 21)
Vipisinh Ganpatsinh Chauhan (age 22)
Hitendrasinh Jamatsinh Chauhan (age 21)
(All three resident of Karja Rampura)

The youths of Karja Rampura village of Amirgadh taluka were working in a garage in Palanpur. From there they were returning to their home in a car in the evening. At that time, the driver of the car couldn’t control the speed and hit them. All three youths died on the spot.
