Pune: Unacademy, India’s largest learning platform, today announced the acquisition of NeoStencil, a leading Test Preparation platform. The acquisition will further cement Unacademy’s leadership position in the Test Preparation space, while increasing its footprint in Tier II and III cities.
Unacademy is India’s largest learning platform with a growing network of 47,000+ registered Educators and over 40 million Learners. With education being imparted to students across 5,000 cities in India, in 14 Indian languages, Unacademy is changing the way India learns.
NeoStencil was founded in 2014 to solve the ground problems of the Test Preparation Industry. with the vision to make quality education available, accessible, and affordable across India. NeoStencil developed an asset-light and scalable model which leverages technology to solve the problem of accessibility for students and teachers. The live-learning platform has helped over 100 coaching institutes go live, and over 15,000 paid students to enter classrooms from the comfort of their homes. On account of the closures during the pandemic, the EdTech start-up doubled its partnerships with academic institutions.
