Mumbai: Former Chief Minister and senior Bhartiya Janata Party leader Devendra Fadnavis has tested positive for Covid-19. He has quarantined himself and appealed to all people who had been in close contact with him to get tested for the novel coronavirus infection.
Fadnavis has shared the news through his twitter handle.
I have been working every single day since the lockdown but now it seems that God wants me to stop for a while and take a break !

In his tweet, Fadnavis has said, “I have stayed active every day since the lockdown started. But now I think, God wants me to take rest for a few days. I have tested positive for Covid-19 and I have isolated myself. I am taking medicines as per the doctors advice.”
In the next tweet, Fadnavis has said, “All those who have come in close contact with me in the last few days should get themselves tested for Covid-19. All everybody should take care of their health.”
On Wednesday evening, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had also some symptoms of the Covid-19 but he had tested negative for the coronavirus infection. Still, Pawar has isolated himself and has been working from his official residence ‘Devgiri’ in Mumbai.
