Paytm makes a comeback on the google Play Store after 4 hours of being removed

New Delhi: Digital payment app Paytm was removed from the Google Play Store for violating rules. However, it’s a good news for users as the Paytm app has made a comeback on the Google Play Store. The company has shared this information through its Twitter account.

Paytm, sharing information through its Twitter account, told about Paytm removed from the Google Play Store, it has tweeted- ‘Dear Paytm’ers, Paytm Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google’s Play Store for new downloads or updates. It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your Paytm app as normal’.

It had assured its users to not worry about the money as they will be back soon after rectifying the errors made by violating rules of google play store. Now Android users can download Paytm comfortably as it is back to the store sound and fine.

After removing Paytm from the Google Play Store, Google reported through its blog that Paytm had violated the company’s rules. Google claimed, online casinos and other gambling apps cannot be used in India and is against our policy. If anyone does this, it is a violation of the policy. When doing so, the app is removed from the Google Play Store. Due to violation of this rule, Paytm has been removed.

The problem came when Paytm Cricket League contest launched on Friday morning, which allowed users to win stickers featuring their favorite cricket players and then win cash for every five stickers collected.

Earlier, Paytm, India’s dominant digital payments startup, accused Alphabet Inc.’s Google of violating competition rules after the Google’s move to remove the rival’s app from its Play Store on Friday for allegedly infringing its gambling policies
