Coronavirus update : 5 states have the highest corona cases along with highest recovery in the country, know more ‘here’

New Delhi: The Health Ministry said on Friday that the five most active states with coronavirus are Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. These are also the states where the most recovery has taken place. It was reported that 87,472 patients were discharged in 24-hour intervals in the country and with this the total number of people recovering from COVID-19 in the country has increased to 41,12,551.

The current recovery rate is 78.86 percent, and the death rate also came down to 1.63 percent. The ministry said that the country has been reporting daily recovery of more than 70,000 for the last 11 consecutive days. It reported that the top five states with high active caseloads of COVID-19 are also currently undertaking high levels of recovery.

There have been 59.8 percent active cases from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. The ministry said that the overall recovery rate in these states is also 59.3 percent and a 90 percent recovery rate has been reported from 16 states and union territories.

Maharashtra (19,522) recorded a new recovery rate of 22.31 per cent, Andhra Pradesh 12.24 per cent, Karnataka 8.3 per cent, Tamil Nadu 6.31 per cent and Chhattisgarh six per cent. The ministry claimed the total new recovery has been 55.1 percent in these states. The Ministry stated that we, along with AIIMS, are working on COVID-19 management on ‘National e-ICU’.

According to the data released on Friday by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 96,424 new coronavirus cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. There have been 1,174 deaths during this period. The total number of positive cases in the country has increased to 52,14,678.
