Ahmedabad: The number of coronavirus cases in the state is increasing day by day. Ahmedabad’s hospitals are overflowing with Corona patients. In this situation, Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia has accused the government. Modhwadia said that Gujarat is the second largest state in the country after Bihar in the ICMR data released. The state did not have the same test before and now the positive case statistics and cemetery statistics are being hidden.

Modhwadia told reporters that if we talk only about Ahmedabad, there are 2739 cases in the government books in Ahmedabad while in fact, private hospitals are full. Out of 3182, 2845 patients are undergoing treatment while 2916 patients are in government hospitals. While the 440 beds are with ICU, only 30 of them are vacant. Out of 210 ventilators, only 14 ventilators are empty. While in the government records, only 82 patients are on ventilator.

The ICMR has said the winter spell is too dangerous. When 4-5 thousand tests were done in Ahmedabad, more than 300 patients used to come positive while today thousands of tests are done but no record of rapid tests is taken. The government is also hiding cemetery figures, in fact, the statistics of death toll is 8 to 10 times.
