Mumbai : TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actress Divya Bhatankar’s condition is not improving. Actress is still on ventilator after being infected with corona. Actress’s brother Devashish has given a health update of Divya Bhatankar. He said that she was initially admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia, although later she was found to be Covid-19 positive.
In a conversation with the media, Devashish said, ‘We have shifted Divya to another hospital. She was admitted to the hospital on 26 November and was found to be Corona positive on 28 November. Initially, she was on non-invasive ventilation to help with her breathing, but is now on ventilator. We want his pneumonia to be cured quickly, which has spread a lot.’

Divya’s mother is also in Mumbai but Devashish is not allowing her to meet the actress to keeping in mind her safety. Devashish further said, I go to meet Divya wearing a PPE kit. Because I want to encourage her. She is quite uncomfortable and tries to talk to me. I am not allowing my mother to meet her because she is 63 years old. We have to be very vigilant about her health as well.’
Actress Divya Bhatankar shared a screenshot of one of her videos on Instagram Story, in which it was written, ‘Hi…my Instagram family… pray for my good health. Love to you all.’
Divya’s mother said, ‘Divya had a very high fever for the last 6 days. She did not feel good at all. I came from Delhi. I then checked Divya’s oxygen level which was quite low. She is currently on ventilator and is in critical condition. Right now her corona report has come positive.’ Divya’s mother also said that Divya’s husband is fraud. She said, “Divya’s husband left her and she did not even try to know about Divya’s condition.”
Divya’s husband Gagan said during Instagram Live, ‘I am Divya’s husband. There are many reports about me that I am a fraud and have run away.’ He further said, ‘This is all baseless news. I am from production so I have to travel. When Divya fell ill, her Covid-19 test came positive. I was out because of work. I was not in the network area so I could not speak. But she was in touch with my mother.’
