Ahmedabad : Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Zydus Cadila’s Changodar plant today on November 28 and was briefed on the corona vaccine being developed by Zydus. “PM Modi’s visit was very inspiring for us,” said Sharvil Patel, managing director of the company about Prime Minister Modi’s plant visit. “He has thorough knowledge of the vaccine and what the requirements would be in the next few months. He has a roadmap for what to do now,” Sharvil added.

Sharvil Patel said there was an extensive discussion with the Prime Minister about the corona vaccine and the company’s upcoming plans. Sharvil Patel said that during the discussion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had an in-depth discussion on the corona vaccine as well as its treatment. The second phase of the clinical trial of Zydus Cadila vaccine ‘ZyCov-D’ has been completed and the company will start work on Phase-3 in December.
“In our conversation with us, PM Narendra Modi talked about the corona vaccine and other options available for treatment. Most importantly, he also talked about how the government can be helpful in this whole process. His vision is to take India out of the danger of this epidemic soon,” Patel said
