Pune: A one-year-old child has been kidnapped from Gadital area of Hadapsar. The incident took place on Monday (November 23) morning. The child was kidnapped while his mother was sleeping under the flyover of Gadital. This is the second incidence of child kidnapping in the Hadapsar area in the last few days.
The child’s mother Sharmila Nilesh Kale (22), a resident of Indapur tehsil, has filed a complaint in this regard. Based on her complaint, Hadapsar police have registered FIR against unidentified women. A few days back, a four month old child was kidnapped from Hadapsar area by unidentified women.
According to the complainant, Sharmila has two sons. Elder son is three years old while the younger one was one year old. Sharmila had a fight with her husband on Sunday and later she had come to stay with some women staying in Gadital flyover area she was acquainted with. Sharmila was sleeping under the flyover along with her two sons. In the wee hours of Monday, two unidentified women came walking towards Sharmila and picked up her younger son and took him away with them. After some time, Sharmila realized that her child has been kidnapped and rushed to Hadapsar police station to file the complaint.
