She has referred to the Vedas and posted a picture about it. The actress has described it as an offering of Bholenath and said that it is also legal for Mahashivaratri and Holi. Giving information about cannabis, the actress has asked people to read about all these first.
Actress tweeted,‘Cannabis is one of the 5 sacred plants mentioned in the Atharvaveda. Bhaang is considered भोलेनाथ का प्रसाद, is even legal on महाशिवरात्रि and होली ! There are several references to weed in our texts. In fact the name ‘Indica’ literally means ‘from India’.
