Complaint against actor Siddharth Randeria for hurting Hindu religious sentiments

Mumbai : Narendra Patil of Hindu Seva Samiti in Nandurbar has lodged a complaint against five persons, including Gujarat comedian Siddharth Randeria, for insulting religious sentiments by chanting Gayatri mantra and pouring alcohol from the bottle at the same time.

The complaint states that Gujarati playwright Siddharth Randeria’s comedy show Gujjubhai Ni Golmaal is being aired. Parts of it are also aired on YouTube. In one scene, the heroine is shown chanting the Gayatri mantra with her eyes closed.

At the same time, the actor (Siddharth Randeria) pours the wine from the bottle into a copper vessel in front of her and makes fun of her by chanting mantras. Makes a lot of jokes about mantras. In fact, Gayatri Mantra is a Veda Mantra and is recited in every ritual. The sentiments of the Hindus were hurt by this scene. The case should therefore be registered immediately and they should be arrested immediately and punished severely.
