New Delhi: The new Consumer Protection Act 2019 of the government will strengthen the customers rights. Now online consumer protection act will be implemented in online shopping by branded companies. The Consumer Protection Act 2019 gives the customer the power to fight even those companies which were not in the earlier consumer law. Now customers can lodge their complaint in the Consumer Forum under the new law

With the beginning of September month Festive season has started in the country so has the festive online sale in the midst of Coronavirus pandemic. The season will last for about 2 to 3 months. E–commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart are announcing the sale. Consumers have a special need to be vigilant among all the offers and benefits of these online shopping companies.

If e-commerce companies give bad goods to customers, then complaints can be made immediately. According to the e-commerce market expert, this year, attractive and huge discounts will be given in all categories including fashion, gadgets, household items. There will also be a huge discount in beauty and other products. The products may turn out to be bad as well. So one can use this act and avail the rights.

The festive season sale is not only like a festival for e-commerce companies but also for customers. During festive season sales, consumers buy goods at wholesale prices on these e-commerce websites. In such a situation, the new Consumer Protection Act 2019 of the government will greatly strengthen the customers rights. Now online consumer protection act will be implemented in online shopping by branded companies.

The Consumer Protection Act 2019 will also apply on the products sold under the sale. If there is a sale of a branded company and the companies give the bills of the product, then the Consumer Protection Act may apply. However, it will be difficult for the commission to prove the case against the seller who does not give the bill.
