MP Chief Minister transferred loans worth Rs 800 crore to farmers’ accounts in the state at zero per cent interest

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan distributed credit cards to 63000 farmers on Tuesday under the Seva Week that began on PM Modi’s birthday. CM in a programme here, transferred loans worth Rs 800 crore to farmers’ accounts in the state at zero percent interest. It announced that farmers in the state will get 10000 rupees under Kisan Samman Nidhi annually. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi currently gets 6000 annually in three installments. The state government will add 4000 to it.

The outstanding loan waiver amount will be transfered to the cooperative banks. 800 crore rupees were transferred to district cooperative central banks in the program. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said loans will be transfered to farmers on zero % interest. Animal husbandry and fishermen will also be added to it. He said, “farmer brothers, I assure you that these 3 laws are made, they are in the interest of farmers.I oppose such protesters”.

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “due to corona infection, the state government’s treasury has been adversely affected, but farmers need not worry, we will figure out the solutions”. The previous government had not deposited a contribution of 22 hundred crores of crop insurance, due to which the farmers were not receiving insurance amount. After this, crop insurance worth more than Rs 4600 crore was given to more than 22 lakh farmers recently.

The Chief Minister said that confusion is being spread among the farmers about agricultural bills. No market in the country will be closed and the minimum support price system will sustain as always. The sale and purchase of food grains in the mandis will continue as before. PM Modi has made provisions to double the income of farmers in the country. He asked the farmers whether it was a profitable deal if someone purchased goods directly ifrom your home or farm.
