NEET will reopen the Applications Correction Facility for one more time

New Delhi : National Testing Agency (NTA) have reopened the application correction facility for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. The NEET entrance exam were held across the country on 13 September. The difficulties in the online application due to COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA has once again given an opportunity to improve it.

The online correction window will be available by September 30 to make corrections. Candidates can make corrections through the official website ntaneet.nic.in. The following sections can rectified in the online application form –

• Mother’s name
• father’s name
• Gender, category,
• Handicapped people,
• State Code of Eligibility and Nationality

It has been mentioned in the official notification that corrections in the details in the online application form will be accepted till 5 pm and submission of fee (if not submitted) till 11.50 pm.

How to apply-

Step 1: First go to the official website – ntaneet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the NEET link on the homepage.

Step 3: A new window will open, fill the required information in it.

Step 4: In the ‘Log-in link’ given on the new window, click the applicant.

Step 5: Log in using user-id and password and make the necessary changes.

The NTA has said in its notice that candidates are being given the last chance to improve the application form. After this, no change in the application form will be accepted through fax, email or letter. Therefore, the candidates are requested to correct the errors carefully as this is the last chance of rectification provided to the candidates.

Candidates should also know that if they have sent any email before for corrections, then it will not be considered as an option. Therefore, they are requested to verify their application form very carefully and this is the last chance for improvement being made available to the candidates.

The answer of NEET will be released soon. After this, the results are expected to be released in the first week of October.
