Pune MIT-ADT University signs MoU with 34 companies from construction sector

Pune: MIT Art, Design & Technology University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 34 companies from the construction sector. These companies are from different domains such as infrastructure, highways, railways, metros, real estate, finance, building construction, environmental engineering, green technology, research, testing and consultancy, structural engineering, entrepreneurs, geo-technical engineering, etc.

The MoU was signed by MIT ADT University Executive President Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad in the presence of MIT SOE Principal Dr Kishore Ravande, Civil Engineering Department Head Dr Satish Patil, Dean Engineering Dr Rajneesh Bedi and other faculty members from civil engineering department.

The company representatives who participated in the program were Malhar Karwande from Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative, Satish Yadav from Nutaan Infra Projects, Rudramurti from Utracon Structural System, Soumya Datta from Xrbia Developers, Sunil Jadhav from Morning Star Realities, Deepika Mandal from Ultra Tech Environmental Consultancy, Abhay Kumar from Institute of Real Estate and Finance, Pravin Sakhare from RECCO Infra, Saurabh Karandikar from Planitech Consultants, Rajesh Nigade and Rajesh Ratkalkar from Axis Structural Consultants, Vikrant Kulkarni from Mohor Superfoods, Dr Ganesh Kadam from Greenex Environmental, Ramesh Kulkarni from Soiltech (India), Milind Talathi and Sunil Baheti from Amit Rujuta Ventures, Vishwas Kulkarni from Durocrete Engineering Services, Pratapsinh Bhonsale from Global Traffic Solutions, Vinodkumar from Millennium Engineers and Contractors, Vinayak Nikam from Shree Enterprises, Mandar Ganbavale from Spectrin Design and Consulting Engineers.

Representatives from Ashoka Structural Consultants, J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd, Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF), AIESEC, Xtreme Engineering Equipment, Constrologix Engineering and Research Services, Skyfi Education Labs, Vaanahaa Education and Innovation Labs, Rbased Services, IFS Academy, Shree Chaitanya Developers, Unity Consultants, Watsoft Innovative Technologies and Solution, Pietra Infrastructures and Green Water-Revolution were also present on the occasion.

Dr Karad said, “The university is committed to providing state of the art technologies and facilities to the students in collaboration with industries to make them better and employable engineers.”

Prof Dr Satish Patil said, “The main purpose of the MoU is to offer project-related internships and placements to students so that they gain hands-on experience on real site conditions during their internship tenure.”
