New Delhi : The cases of Coronavirus in the country are steadily increasing. With this, the highest recovery of patients from COVID-19 in one day is also recorded in India. At the same time, research is going on worldwide about the coronavirus and its vaccine. Today, some facts related to it are revealed. Recently an AIIMS doctor has claimed that the coronavirus can be spread through brooms in public places. According to him, in such a situation, the vacuum cleaner should be used instead of brooms in public places.

Dr. Anurag Shrivastava, chairman of AIIMS’s surgery department, has claimed that the coronavirus can be spread through a broom. According to him, the use of brooms and keeping garbage in the open is very risky and it increases the risk of corona infection. He informed that the coronavirus can remain alive on any kind of surface for three to five days. If the infected patient sneezes or coughs, the virus particles coming out of his body fall on the surrounding surface.

The doctor said that while using the broom, these particles of coronavirus, released from the body, spreads to dust and soil. During that time, if a person passes from that area, this virus enters his body through breath. This way the virus can spread rapidly. In view of this, Dr. Srivastava appealed to use a vacuum cleaner instead of a broom in the cleanliness drive on 2nd October.
