Corona Cases Exceed 45 Lakhs in India, Around 10 Lakh Cases in Maharashtra Alone

New Delhi : The spread of deadly Coronavirus in the country has become uncontrollable. This epidemic is creating a new record every day. In the last 24 hours, more than 96 thousand new cases of corona have been reported. With this, the total number of corona cases has crossed 45 lakh. At the same time, more than 76 thousand people have died due to this virus.

Within the last 24 hours, a record 96,551 new patients of Corona have been found. So far, this figure is the highest for infected people found in a day. With this, the total case tally stands at 45,62,415. In the last 24 hours, 1209 deaths occurred in India. Total 76,271 deaths have been reported in India so far. According to the latest update of the Health Ministry, 35,42,664 people have been recovered here so far. There are 9,43,480 active cases of Corona in the country right now.

23,446 new cases of corona in Maharashtra
The total number of infected people increased to 9,90,795 after 23,446 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Thursday. An official of the Health Department gave this information. 23,816 people have also recovered in 24 hours in the state. Apart from this, the death toll has increased to 28,282 after the death of 448 patients.

After the death of 38 patients in Mumbai, the number of dead has reached 8,023. Today, after 14,253 people recovered from infection, the total number of cured people has increased to 7,00,715. The recovery rate of patients in the state is 70.72 percent. So far 49.74 lakh people have been investigated.

Apart from India, Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in other countries of the world. More than 28.8 million people have been infected in the world. While more than 9.8 lakh people have died from this virus.

America tops in the highest number of deaths. So far, 1.91 lakh people have died in America from Corona. Brazil is second with 1.29 lakh deaths. In this case, India is at number three where more than 76 thousand lives have been lost due to this epidemic.
