Pune: The planned visit of Delhi-based Foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners to Serum Institute of India (SII) in Manjri area of Pune city on Friday (November 27) has been called off. This visit has now been rescheduled for December 4.
Sarvjeet Soodan, Deputy Chief of Protocol (Ceremonial) from the Protocol Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs has communicated about this rescheduling of the visit to Pune Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao. District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh and Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta have also been marked in the correspondence.
The revised itinerary for December 4, 2020 is as follows:
0800 hrs : Emplane for Pune from Delhi
1015 hrs : Arrive in Pune (Air Force Technical Area)
1015 hrs : Welcome (The delegates would be divided in two groups for site visits)
First Group
1030 hrs : Depart for Serum Institute of India Private Limited, (212/2, Hadapsar, Off Soli Poonawala Road, Pune)
1100 to 1345 hrs : Arrive and visit the facilities followed by lunch hosted by Serum Institute of India
1345 hrs : Depart for Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Limited (BTS-2 Building, Chrysalis Enclave, Block-2, Plot-2, International Biotech Park, Phase 2, MIDC, Hinjawadi, Pune)
1445 to 1645 hrs : Arrive and visit the facilities followed by high tea hosted by Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Limited
