Delhi Police Special Cell arrested Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) alumnus Omar Khalid in Delhi violence case. Umar Khalid has been arrested under the UAPA. According to sources, Umar Khalid was summoned and called for questioning. Omar Khalid has been arrested after several hours of questioning.

At the same time, after the arrest of Umar Khalid, the United Against Hate Group has issued a statement. United Against Hate has said, ‘After 11 hours of inquiry, Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Umar Khalid as a conspirator in the Delhi violence case.
