Gujarat: IIT-NIT colleges to start teaching in Gujarati from next year

Ahmedabad : Prestigious colleges IIT and NIT will start teaching their engineering courses in the mother tongue of the student from next year. This announcement has been made by the Union Ministry of Education. It is to be noted that teaching technical education in the mother tongue is a part of the National Education Policy. In addition, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank directed UGC to provide scholarships and fellowships to students in a timely manner.

It also asked for immediate disposal of students’ complaints. The education minister said the ministry was making arrangements to implement the national education policy in a systematic manner. In addition, the National Testing Agency will look at the syllabus of competitive examinations in the country and observe the situation of the existing education boards.

In addition, as the academic year in the country has been disrupted due to Corona, there are plans to launch a campaign in which the Ministry of Education will discuss with students, teachers and parents about when and how to conduct examinations next year.
