ICAI to Reopen Correction Window for Change of Examination City

Pune: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) is providing another chance to change exam location to the candidates appearing for the CA examinations. ICAI has reopened the Online Facility, meaning Correction Window for Seeking Change of Examination City who are appearing in November 2020 CA Examinations.

The decision was taken in wake of the health and safety requirements question raised out of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the well-being of students who have already submitted online examination applications for November 2020 Examinations scheduled to commence from 1st November 2020.

The online facility will once again open for seeking change of examination city as per schedule given below:

· There will be no change accepted in the already applied group / medium, either in exam form or through previous correction window/s, for appearing in the Chartered Accountants Examinations scheduled in the month of November 2020

· The on-line window for seeking the change of Centre will be made available at https://icaiexam.icai.org.

· Candidates are advised to take note of the above carefully and take advantage of this re – opening of an on-line facility being made available appropriately and stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org for the latest announcements / updates.

In a notification released by ICAI, the correction window for candidates seeking change of test city for ICAI CA November 2020 exams will be shut by 8 October, those interested can request for a different exam center should do the needful before the last date.

How to change the exam city, here are the steps-

· Step 1: Go to the website – icaiexam.icai.org.

· Step 2: On the login page, key in your credentials.

· Step 3: Make the changes in ICAI CA November 2020 exam center.

· Step 4: Press the submit button.

The schedule of the examination was released by ICAI in July. As per the Institute, Papers 3 and 4 of CA Foundation Examination will be of 2 hours while Elective Paper 6 of Final Examination under the new scheme will be of 4 hours. All other exams will be of 3 hours each.
