Pakistan : Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law arrested, Maryam said – Police broke my hotel room door

Karachi : Safdar Awan, son-in-law of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has been arrested by the police in Karachi. Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and Nawaz’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given this information by tweeting. Awan’s arrest comes after the Karachi rally of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Maryam said that they were staying in a hotel in Karachi. During this, the police broke into the door of her hotel room and arrested Captain Safdar Awan. Maryam Nawaz had participated in the protests against the Imran Khan government in Pakistan.

Significantly, the voice of opposition against the Imran government in Pakistan is high. In Pakistan, rallies against the Imran government have been increasing. This has increased the tension of Imran Khan and the Pakistani Army.

Huge number of people had gathered at the rally in Karachi. In this rally, Maryam Nawaz made a strong mark on the Imran government. She said if we return to power, Imran will be in jail. Maryam Nawaz was the first in the rally to pay tribute to those who lost their lives due to coronavirus. She also said that Imran Khan is hiding his failure and telling people not to panic.

Maryam Nawaz advised Imran Khan on how to run the government. She said that fear on Imran Khan’s face was clearly visible on her every word, every action. If Imran does not know how to govern and how to decide in the interest of the people, if he does not know how to do this, then you should learn from Nawaz Sharif.

The opposition party is forming alliances in Pakistan to topple Imran Khan from power. Coalition rallies are being organized in different parts of Pakistan. The coalition rally in Karachi consisted of 11 opposition parties which was headed by Maulana Fazlur Rahman.
