New Delhi : A new investigation technique of coronavirus, jointly created by scientists from India and Israel, may be revealed in a few days. It is named Open Sky. The biggest advantage of this technique is that the person has to blow in a particular type of tube. After this, the test report will be received within a minute and it will be known whether he is coronavirus positive or not. This technology is considered to be a game changer amid epidemics.
Israel’s Embassy in India, Ron Malka, has said that Israel wants India to be the hub for the production of this rapid testing kit. The project of this test kit is in an advanced stage, I think it is a matter of a few days as I have heard from people associated with this project. It is possible that a decision will be taken in two to three weeks and people will get the benefit of this in the epidemic.
Scientists from India and Israel, after collecting a large number of samples, tested four types of technology. In this, the technique of infection detection was important from breath analyzer and voice check. Apart from the isothermal testing technique, if the virus is present in the saliva, it is possible to identify the virus protein by isolating it with the help of poly amino acids. After testing on a total of ten types of technology, these four techniques were selected by the scientists for final testing.
According to Ron, the technique of identifying the infection by speaking in the tube will make the future easier. In other places like the airport, it can detect the virus in seconds. The best thing is that it is cheap and there will be no worry about sending the sample and the cost incurred on it will also be saved. The two countries are also working together on the vaccine. If the vaccine is successful, it will be produced in India in large numbers.
