Mumbai : Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea and her brother Shouvik Chakraborty have not been granted bail by the sessions court of Mumbai.They have not got any relief from the court. The bail petition of all 6 accused has been rejected by the court. Earlier, when Rhea filed a bail petition, the court had rejected it. Today is Rhea’s third day in jail.
After the first petition of Rhea rejected by the court, she spent her night in NCB lockup. After this, the next day, Rhea was shifted to Byculla jail. Near Rhea’s cell is the cell of Indrani Mukherjee, accused in the Sheena Bora murder case.
The 28-year-old actress was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) earlier in the day after three days of questioning by the agency. NCB has claimed in the remand application that Rhea Chakraborty used to procure drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput’s consumption. The agency has also claimed that Rhea Chakraborty also used to “manage finances for drug procurement along with Sushant Singh Rajput”.
Bail pleas of Showik Chakraborty, Rhea Chakraborty, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant & Samuel Miranda have been rejected by a special court in Mumbai.

Apart from this, NCB inquiries had revealed that Rhea and her brother had links with many drug peddlers. Rhea and Shouvik are accused of buying and selling drugs.
The CBI has also questioned her parents Indrajit and Sandhya Chakraborty. Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Neeraj Singh, house help Keshav Bachner, roommate and creative director Siddharth Pithani, his former business manager Shruti Modi and house manager Samuel Miranda were also questioned by the agency.
The CBI took over the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death last month based on a FIR filed by his father KK Singh. The actor was found dead in his rented Bandra house on June 14.
