Bollywood Drugs Case : Deepika Padukone says will cooperate with NCB

Mumbai :  Since the drugs angle surface in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, many big names of Bollywood were revealed in the investigation. As the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is expanding the scope of its investigation, the list of stars is also increasing. Summons have also been sent to four big actresses of the industry, including Deepika Padukone. Many speculations were made due to actress silence. However Deepika has made a statement over it.

According to media reports, in response to the summons, Deepika has extended her full support to NCB, she said that she will cooperate in the investigation

Deepika Padukone is asked to appear on September 25, while Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor are called on September 26, while Rakul Preet Singh, Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi and designer Simone Khambata were asked to appear on Thursday (September 24).

Apart from this, senior officer had told that Talent Manager Jaya Saha has given some important information in this matter. The Karishma Prakash manger of Padukone was also called for investigation but she asked for another date due to ill health. The officer said that she has been exempted till Friday. According to NCB source, a conversation about drugs has been found in Prakash’s WhatsApp chat.

Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Rhea Chakraborty in a drug case on September 8. In media reports, actress Dia Mirza denied that she had ever consumed drugs when she was named in the drugs case. Apart from this, she has said she will take legal action in this matter.

The entire case started when the body of Sushant Singh Rajput was found on June 14 at his Bandra home. After the Mumbai Police and Bihar Police, the CBI is now investigating this case. At the same time, NCB and ED are also investigating this case after the disclosure of money laundering and drug abuse. Rhea Chakraborty is in jail on drugs charges.
