Srinagar : Terrorist attacks continue in Jammu and Kashmir. Now in Shopian, CRPF soldiers were attacked by terrorists and fled. Firing has been done on the soldiers posted in Shopian’s Mini Secretariat. However, so far no damage has been reported in the attack. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area.
Earlier on Thursday evening in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, the assailants attacked Advocate Babar Qadri. He was being taken to the hospital immediately after the attack during this he died.
Babur Qadri was a well known name not only in Jammu and Kashmir but also across the country. He was often seen in TV debates. He was being taken to the hospital soon after being shot, but died on the way. Babar Qadri, in one of his last tweets, described his life in threat.
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel injured in a terrorist attack in Budgam died during treatment. On Thursday, motorcycle-riding terrorists shot at a CRPF trooper closely, in which the soldier was injured. He was admitted to the hospital in Srinagar where he died.
The officials confirmed the death of the jawan. The jawan’s rifle was also taken away by the terrorists. Police and security forces have started a search operation to catch terrorists.
