New Delhi: The sports bike market is growing rapidly in India. There was a time when sports bikes in India were imported from abroad and also very expensive in price. However, many domestic and foreign companies are making sports bikes within the country. Here are few motorcycles which will fit in your budget.

• TVS Apache RTR 200 4V

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75 cc 4-stroke engine, which generates 20.5 PS of power and 16.8 Nm of torque at 8,500 RPM. It is equipped with a 5-speed transmission. This bike is equipped with race tuned-fuel injection ‘RT-Fi’ technology. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes equipped with dual-channel ABS with RLP (rear wheel lift-off protection) control, and an RT-slipper clutch (which protects the rear tire from locking). The new motorcycle TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features features like ‘feather touch’ start with Bluetooth, an all-new LED headlamp with claw style position lamp. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.25 lakh.

• Suzuki Gixxer 150 SF
The Suzuki Gixxer has a 155 cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI, SOHC engine with BS6 compliant power. The Suzuki Gixxer’s engine generates maximum power of 13.6 PS at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 6000 rpm. This bike engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It gets Silangal channel ABS with Fully Digital Instrument cluster. The Suzuki Gixxer has a 12-liter fuel tank. The Suzuki Gixxer BS6 is priced at Rs 1.11 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

• Bajaj Pulsar RS 200
The bike gets 199.5cc liquid cool, fuel injected engine. This engine produces 24 bhp of power and a peak torque of 18.7 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 features twin projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED taillight and a semi-digital instrument console. The bike gets a fully faired design and muscular fuel tank, stepped up seat, attractive paint job and graphics. It has telescopic front forks and a gas-charged monoshock unit at the rear. • KTM RC 125 and 125 Duke
Both bikes get a 125 cc 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine, which generates 15 hp power and 12 Nm torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed transmission. The RC 125 is a supersport stance, while the Duke is a streetfight. It has two feature Fully Digital Instrument Cluster and ABS. The 125 Duke ex-showroom is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh and the full faired RC 125 is priced at Rs 1.60 lakh.

• Yamaha r15
Yamaha has introduced a 155 cc capacity bike in the new emission standard engine. The new bike will give 19 hp power at 10,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. This bike comes with a 6-speed transmission. It gets features like All LED Lamps, All Digital Instrument Cluster, USB Charger, Slipper Clutch and Dual Channel ABS. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.48 lakh, while its streetfighter version has an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.40 lakh.
