Pune : A marketing professional Parag more turned into an online money lending application to avail a loan and meet his expenses. He did so because he didn’t get full salary during lockdown. But borrowing money entangled him in trouble, because of which the lenders hacked his phone to get his contact list and sent disparaging messages against him to his acquaintances.
More has now approached the cyber crime cell of Pimpri for the trouble and lodged a complaint for the same. He alleged that the recovery agents are still calling him and threatening him by using abusive language against his family.
When More was in need of money he logged in the app of money lending where all personal details were asked like PAN and Adhar after that 3 lakh rs. Were deposited in his account. During the whole process he did not meet any officials from the company and still got the money. He also started paying monthly installments regularly. After that he lost his job in October and paid them by selling jewellery.since then the recovery agents started harassing parag more.
Cyber Crime cell is checking the credentials of the moneylender in the case so that it could be solved and the criminal could be punished.
