Pune : As the month of November moves on, the cold is also increasing. Few days before temperature in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik has come down. Most importantly, Parbhani recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 9.9 degree Celsius on Wednesday, while Mumbai recorded a low of 19.4 degree Celsius. Mumbaikars are able to experience extreme cold in the morning.
Vidarbha, Marathwada and Western Maharashtra are heavily affected in the state. The minimum temperature in Pune and Nashik has been consistently recorded around 10 degree Celcius for the last 4 days. The minimum temperature in Mumbai is recorded at 22 to 19 degrees. Mahabaleshwar is likely to see a snow sheet again this year. The minimum temperature in Sangli, Nanded, Osmanabad, Malegaon, Satara, Baramati, Aurangabad, Nanded, Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Solapur and Jalna dropped below 15 degrees.
Over the next two days the temperature will begin to rise gradually. The meteorological department said the cold is likely to decrease on Diwali. Regarding this, Pune Meteorological Department Chief Anupam Kashyapi said that at present the wind is blowing from the north east to the south. Cold winds from the north are coming to the state. The resulting situation is moving close to the cold air wave.
