Pune: The total number of COVID19 active cases in the city has come down to five thousand, of which, only 202 patients are critical and being treated at various hospitals.
Meanwhile, the number of cases in the district has come down to less than ten thousand. A total of 782 new corona cases were found in the district on Wednesday (December 9).
At present, 3645 patients are being treated in various hospitals in the district. Also, 6494 patients are being treated at home. In addition, 1028 patients have recovered.
The city tested 9899 people for coronavirus infection, of which 338 were tested positive. Also, 12 people have died in the last 24 hours. 167 patients have been identified in Chinchwad, 186 in Zilla Parishad area, 74 in Municipal Council area, and 17 in the Cantonment Board area. Four people died of COVID19 in Pune city, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Zilla Parishad each.
Almost 8537 patients have died due to COVID19, of which 415 were from outside of the Pune district.
