Global Times’ Survey Reveals PM Modi Is The Choice Of 51% People in China

New Delhi : There has been tension between India and China in the Galvan valley of Ladakh since the military conflict and negotiations between the two countries are continuing. But amidst all this, the truth has been revealed that 51 percent of the people of China praise the Modi government and are unhappy with some policies of their leaders. This was revealed in a survey conducted by the Chinese government newspaper ‘Global Times’.

The Global Times is considered the mouthpiece of China’s Communist government. In the survey conducted by the newspaper on the relationship between India and China, 51 percent of Chinese people have praised the Narendra Modi government. Whereas 70 percent of Chinese citizens believe that anti-China thinking dominates in India. However, 30 percent of the people said, they feel that the relationship between the two countries will improve in the coming time. In this survey, people of China described India as the preferred country after Russia, Japan and Pakistan. However 90 per cent of the people surveyed agreed to military action against India. Nearly 50 percent of Chinese citizens believe that the Indian economy is heavily dependent on China and recent steps will hurt India.

In this survey conducted within China about India, 56 percent Chinese people believed that they are interested in India or they know a lot about this country. 57 percent of Chinese citizens believe that India’s military is not developed enough to compete with the Chinese army in any way.

On the other hand, Chinese tech company Huawei, which is in controversy, is trying hard to lure Indians. Huawei said that it is committed to India and has been working in India for the last 20 years. According to media reports, India wants to remove Huawei’s equipment in a phased manner. Prior to this, the company has been completely banned in the US, UK and Australia.
